"The Saturday Social Skills group allowed my child to broaden his friend group to peers outside of his school."

We offer a variety of weekend programs to expand access to our unique wraparound services for children and their families.

Our Friday Social Skills group allows children ages 5 – 7 to attend after school programming expanding peer relationships. Students learn how to take turns, how to practice active listening, and how to be a friend.

Our Saturday Social Skills group allows children ages 8 – 10 to connect with peers outside of school. Students build on existing tools while learning new ways to have successful social interactions. Many activities are student-led, empowering participants to build confidence in themselves.

Our Brief Evaluation and Intervention Group (BEIG) has been a hallmark of Cheerful Helpers Services. Our Saturday group provides the opportunity for families unable to attend during the week to access this program for parents and their children.

Our Fathers' Group is designed for children ages 6 – 10. This group acknowledges and builds on the unique relationship and interactive patterns fathers may share with their children.
